Free one-month supplies of pads are available at the following locations:
- Cherry Log Christian Church mini-food pantry (located outside the church at 1149 Cherry Log Street).
- Bethesda Community Clinic – located at the Gilmer County Health Department (28 Southside Church Street, Ellijay, Georgia), the clinic is open on the third Wednesday of each month between 10:00am and 2:00pm. - The Craddock Center’s Living Room – 186 Fred Craddock Drive, Cherry Log, Georgia. Please call 706-632-1772 or visit craddockcenter.org for information on office hours.
- The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay; please call 706-636-7837 for more information.
- Roots Thrift Store, located at 449 Industrial Boulevard, #250 Ellijay, Georgia.
- Georgia Mountains Health – Dahlonega location (134 Ansley Drive, Suite 700, Dahlonega)
- Gilmer Community Food Pantry, 5273 Highway 52 E, Ellijay, Georgia (open Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 12:45 pm).
- Gilmer Community Warming Center (optional – hygiene kits)
We have partnered with the schools listed below to offer pads through their food pantries. While these locations aren’t open to the general public, students, staff, and their families may obtain pad bags.
- Gilmer County High School
- Gilmer Mountain Education Charter High School
- University of North Georgia – Dahlonega Campus
- University of North Georgia – Blue Ridge Campus
We are also providing pad bags to a women’s shelter in Blue Ridge, a teen shelter in Blue Ridge (Open Arms of Blue Ridge), and a women’s shelter in Dahlonega (No One Alone).
